2 Chainz Receives A Lot Of Backlash For Reopening His Atlanta Restaurant

Georgia's governor, Brian Kemp, recently announced that several businesses like nail salons, bowling alleys, and barbershops would be reopening amid the COVID-19 spread. Interestingly enough, one of the three restaurants that are set to reopen is Escobar Restaurant and Tapas Lounge, co-owned by 2 Chainz.The eatery is said to be reopening for dine-in on Monday (April 27), prior- the restaurant was only doing take out. The restaurants co-owner Mychel “Snoop” Dillard tells TMZ that the the two eateries will extend extra safety precautions in order to prioritize customer and staff health.

According to TMZ, the additional safety measures will include "checking employees’ temperatures at clock-in, administering mandatory gloves, giving masks to the cooks and providing disposable one-use paper menus for customers."

If any employee is showing COVID-19 symptoms, they will be asked to go home and self-quarantine for two weeks.Do you think it's too soon to open back up? Let us know.
