Tory Lanez Dad Says He Doesn't Have Animosity Toward Megan, But He's Not Backing Down From 'The Machine'
Tory Lanez's father had a lot to say after his son was found guilty in the 2020 shooting trial.
Now he's speaking out again, seemingly with a change of heart.
Tory's dad, Sonstar, addressed his son's conviction in an online video. He said, "Both my son, myself, and others of our family have long decided that we are not going to hold any animosity against Megan Pete a.k.a. Megan Thee Stallion. We forgave that girl a long time ago. A long time ago." He continued,
"Hatred, resentment, bitterness — those things can actually diseases of the bones, it has been proven. And it can cause sickness in your body because you're holding onto something that is negative against the real life force in your life."
Tory's dad made it clear he and his son "forgive" Megan, but they "won't backdown from the machine," implying Roc Nation.
Take a look:
After the verdict a few weeks ago, Sonstar had to be removed from the courtroom because of his outbursts. He called the justice system evil and blamed Roc Nation/Jay Z for everything.
Tory was found guilty of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging of a firearm with gross negligence, according to prosecutors. Tory faces a maximum sentence of 22 years in prison and possible deportation to Canada. He was immediately taken into custody after the verdict, where he remains. His sentencing was suppose to go down this month, but it got pushed back to February. He also hired a new lawyer and wants a new trial.
