Roc Nation's Maeta Takes Over Museum Of Sex For New Single 'S(EX)'
Maeta turned New York City's Museum Of Sex into a lit R&B jam.
Roc Nation held an intimate listening session for Maeta's seductive new single, "S(EX)." The event was packed with specialty D'ussè drinks, exotic dancers, and Maeta fans.
Guests got the opportunity to hear Maeta showcase her angelic, sensual vocals. She sang her new single, previewed upcoming music, and blessed the people with her classic 2021 hit, "Bitch Don't Be Mad."
"S(EX)" is co-written by Kehlani and Ant Clemons and produced by OG Parker, g.ry, and Mesio Music. It also samples Floetry's classic 2003 banger, "Say Yes."
The single arrives just in time for lover's day, and it might have you calling your favorite ex-lover. Maeta sings about wondering why things ended with her ex but wanting to give it a try for "old times." A notable lyric is when she sings,
"All in my conscience, thoughts and
Am I thinking about us too much when
You be calling
And I'm stalling
'Cause there's skeleton's in my closet
Dead that it's a coffin
We on petty sh*t way too often
And that's just how you rocking
And all that probably led us to the sex."
