Kodak Black Shoots His Shot At GloRilla
One thing Kodak Black will do is shoot his shot!
On Tuesday (Oct. 18), Kodak Black entered the comment section of GloRilla's Instagram Live session with fans and attempted to shoot his shot at the “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” hitmaker.
The Florida rapper tried to win her over by making a reference to lyrics from her hit single “Tomorrow.” “You prolly ain't my girl today but that’s why I love tomorrow,” Kodak Black wrote, adding a smiling face with sunglasses emoji. GloRilla has yet to respond.
This is not the first time Kodak Black has tried to shoot his shot with women on the internet. One time he dedicated a poem to Zendaya and attempted to make a move on Lauren London in the wake of her boyfriend Nipsey Hussle’s death. He's tried rap duo JT and Yung Miami, Dream Doll, newly divorced Kim Kardashian and influencer Brittany Renner at Rolling Loud Miami early this year.
Kodak Black recently made headlines after he called out BET for giving the 2022 BET Hip Hop award for Song of the Year to Latto. "The woman empowerment s**t [cool]" Kodak Black wrote in a rant on Twitter after he found out his single “Super Gremlin” didn't win. "Don’t take [nothing] from nobody but you still gotta work for it! Don’t [just] simply give it to somebody [because] they a woman If that’s the case y’all shoulda gave Song Of The Year to Glorilla, not that hating a** mutt."
He continued, “[‘Big Energy'] ain’t move nobody! Forget about me at this point! AT LEAST ‘F**k Ni**a Free’ was [an] Anthem! Tf you think SONG OF THE YEAR mean?” The 25-year-old rapper's hit single “Super Gremlin” is nominated for an American Music Award this year. His album Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1 is set to be released on Oct. 28.
Meanwhile, GloRilla, first lady of CMG, is enjoying the success of her latest single “Tomorrow 2” featuring Cardi B. The song debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She won her first award for Best Breakthrough Artist at this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards and is currently prepping the release of her new EP, Anyways, Life’s Great, which is set to be released next month.
