GloRilla Speaks Out After Second Person Dies Following Her NY Concert
Prayers up!
Two people have been reported dead following a GloRilla and Finesse2Tymes concert in New York.
According to reports, a second person has died, and others are still in critical condition.
We previously reported that three women were taking to the hospital following the concert where the 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead, and the two victims were listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries said Lt. Nicholas Adams of the Rochester Police Department.
The seven additional concertgoers were reportedly dropped off by private vehicle at area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries according to police.
After the concert was over, fans began to attempt to leave the venue- but things got hectic when someone thought they heard gunshots. The concertgoers rushed the door causing many to get hurt.
GloRilla took to Twitter to speak out after she learned of the second passing. "I am devastated & heartbroken over the tragic deaths that happened after Sunday’s show. My fans mean the world to me. praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected.."
When the police arrived to the scene, it was made clear that “at this time, there is no evidence to support a shooting having occurred inside the event,” Lt. Adams said. The injuries are said to be the result of a large crowd pushing towards the building’s exits.
The incident is still under investigation. We are keeping the concertgoers, and everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers.
