“I got indicted for nothing, for something that is nothing,” the former President told a formal event for Black conservatives. “And a lot of people said that’s why the Black people like me, because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against, and they actually viewed me as I’m being discriminated against. It’s been pretty amazing but possibly, maybe, there’s something there.”

Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States, currently campaigning for his second term. He served his first term from 2017 to 2021.

Trump continued with relation to many Black people because his properties were built by Black construction workers. He made campaign remarks that included appeals to the Black community and jokes about race.

“The lights are so bright in my eyes I can’t see too many people out there. But I can only see the Black ones. I can’t see any white ones. That’s how far I’ve come,” Trump told the crowd.

Trump campaign targets Biden as he faces charges surrounding the 2020 election, keeping classified documents in Florida, and alleged payments to an adult actress. The Republican front-runner is expected to win big in Nikki Haley's home state due to his popularity among GOP voters.

In October, popular recording artist Sexyy Red showed her support for the former president when she said, “The hood loves him.” Other rap stars to support Donald Trump and his perspective recently include Snoop Dogg, Kodak Black, and 50 Cent.
