Gunna:

Gunna’s legal team is determined to get their client out on bond. They filed a third motion and argued prosecutors failed to reveal evidence supporting their argument that Gunna should remain behind bars. They say prosecutors failed to show one witness who accused Gunna of threatening anyone. His co-counsel said, “Gunna is very hopeful that the Court will recognize that the discovery provided by the prosecution fails to show his pretrial release poses a significant risk of danger.

Gunna has been locked up since May, along with Young Thug, fighting RICO charges. The Trial date is set for January 9, 2023.

50 Cent:

50 Cent recently cut ties with Starz for good and is moving on to his next venture in the series world. 50 revealed the trailer for Hip Hop Homicides, investigating the murders of several high-profile rappers. It’ll live on WeTV with TMZ’s Van Lathan as the host. 50 Cent and Mona Scott produced the show, set to air November 3 at 9 pm. Will you be tuned in?

PnB Rock:

There’s been a break in the murder investigation of PnB Rock. According to the police, a father, son & stepmother trio is responsible, and they were waiting for PnB Rock in the parking lot of Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in LA. The theory that the death was connected to a social media post or PnB Rock’s girlfriend is ruled out. A father named Freddie Lee Trone drove the getaway car, and his 17-year-old, son, was the shooter. All three have been arrested in the latest update.

Rihanna:

Rihanna is performing at the super bowl halftime show next year. The news got fans talking. Will she drop a new album? There’s chatter that A$AP Rocky and RiRi have a song underway, and it’s not clear who’ll she’ll bring out as a special guest. Who do you think it’ll be? The show goes down on February 12, 2023.

RIP Coolio:

Legendary hip hop emcee Coolio passed away on September 28. Details are still unfolding, but according to TMZ, Coolio was at his friend’s house, went to the bathroom, and never returned. The friend went to check on Coolio and found him lying on the floor; when EMT arrived, Coolio was pronounced dead on the scene. A cause of death is unknown at this time; reports say it was due to cardiac arrest. He was only 59; our hearts and prayers are with his family at this time.
