Travis Scott Hints New Music Coming: “I Gotta Kick Into A New Gear They Think It's Play Time”
Another Grammy snub appears to really get to Travis Scott as he hints at new music coming soon after last year’s UTOPIA. La Flame shared an anticipated message via Instagram that also suggested the industry doesn't believe in him on Monday (Feb. 20).
“I love music so f–king much,” he wrote by way of Instagram Story. “And for the record, we will be backkkkkk… I gotta kick a new gear since they think it’s playtime.”
Following the post, Scott would follow up with an anticipated message about the Cactus Jack Records roster, perhaps hinting at a new compilation album. "Whole cactus gang are snappers,” wrote Scott.
Despite years of hard work, Travis Scott has yet to win a Grammy. During his 2019 Netflix documentary, he was shown raging backstage at the Grammys after his Astroworld album lost to Cardi B's debut album for Rap Album of the Year. Travis responds to Killer Mike's Grammy win by saying "They slept on me 10 times" during his performance.
Last year, UTOPIA became one of the biggest live shows in music as his album debuted at #1. Hit singles from the latest album such as “FE!N,” “Meltdown,” and “I Know?” continue to chart on Billboard.
