Swizz Beatz, Ron Isley, A Boogie & Bobby Shmurda Highlight A Historic Summer Jam!

After a one year hiatus due to the pandemic, Summer Jam returned in 2021 in August for the first time in history! Just like any Summer Jam, this day was full of surprises.Tropical storm Henri hit us hard with non-stop rain between Saturday and Sunday. Not soon afterwards Saweetie hit the stage to perform some of her biggest hits. She was followed by Megan Ryte who brought some friends that got the dancehall vibes on early at Metlife Stadium. Kranium performed his hit "Nobody Has To Know", Capella Grey came out with his hit single "Gyalis", and the big surprise Mavado! She wasn't done yet though! He apologized for his comments on stage and thanked HOT 97 for his having his back and giving him an opportunity to perform on the stage.
