Brooklyn Stand Up!
Fivio Foreign is bringing a touch of Brooklyn to that Summer Jam stage! Before he graces the stage with his presence, let’s get to know him a little bit better. Born Maxie Lee Ryles III, on March 29th, 1990, the rapper jumped onto the music scene with his 2019 hit “Big Drip” and ultimately solidified his spot in the drill music scene. After the release of “Big Drip,” the rapper has been featured on other songs such as Pop Smoke’s “Showin Off Pt. 2.” However fans wanted more from the rapper, but would have to wait a little while longer. In April 2021, Fivio Foreign was arrested on multiple gun charges after trying to run from police in New Jersey. While in jail, he would often tweet to reassure his fans that were alright. His last tweets behind bars were on July 13th, where he let fans know that he was being released and then teased that maybe at Summer Jam 2021.https://twitter.com/FivioForeign/status/1415025931731804161?s=20&t=vlnqIL2I-ZMGGYAVLtzJ2Ahttps://twitter.com/FivioForeign/status/1415029645557309440?s=20&t=pkuGw8Kui8iW8HIVUWU9_w
Nearly a year after being arrested, Fivio Foreign gave fans what they wanted… an album. The rapper released his debut album B.I.B.L.E on April 8th, with tracks; “City of Gods” featuring Alicia Keys, Kanye West, “Through The Fire” featuring Quavo, and “Say My Name” featuring Queen Naija and Coi Leray (which has its own TikTok challenge). https://www.instagram.com/tv/CcsuBu6leI2/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
