Justice has been served. Today (Feb. 22), Eric Holder Jr. was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison following his conviction on murder charges for the shooting death of Nipsey Hussle. This sentence came months after a Los Angeles jury found him guilty of 1st-degree murder.

According to Los Angeles Times reporter James Queally, Holder was given 25-to-life on the murder count, as well as 25-to-life for a sentencing enhancement since a gun was used and 10 years for shooting two other men that same day.

"Herman Douglas (Nipsey's) friend better known as 'Cowboy') started singing 'hit the road Jack' as Holder was led away, leading the judge and deputies to admonish him and order him out of the room," Queally tweeted of what went down in the court room.

On March 31, 2019, Nipsey Hussle, whose real name is Airmiess Joseph Asghedom, was gunned down outside of his The Marathon Clothing shop in Los Angeles, California. According to prosecutors, the father-of-two was killed in a calculated, premeditated fashion over a discussion about snitching. The Victory Lap rapper was only 33 years old.

May Nipsey Hussle continue to rest in peace.
