Chris Rock’s new stand-up special, "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage," will be broadcasted live from Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre this Saturday, March 4th on Netflix. This will mark the first time the comedian will publicly speak about the infamous Oscars slap that happened nearly a year ago.

As previously reported by HOT 97, Will Smith slapped Rock onstage for making fun of Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. Will then went back to his seat and demanded Rock keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.

According to the Huffington Post, Rock tested out material this week about the incident at a comedy club. He joked about watching Will’s latest movie, Emancipation, just to see the actor get “whipped.”

“The other day, I watched Emancipation just so I could watch him getting whipped,” Rock said. He also answered many people’s question about whether the slap hurt or not. “The thing people wanna know... 'did it hurt?' Hell yeah it hurt. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie," Rock answered, referring to his 1991 movie New Jack City. "Even in animated movies, I’m a zebra, he’s a f**king shark. I got hit so hard, I heard ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears."

He continued, “Will Smith is a big dude. I am not. Will Smith is shirtless in his movies. If you see me in a movie getting open heart surgery, I’m gonna have a sweater on.”
