Busta's career in music began in the early '90s. He was an original member of the Leaders Of The New School and then went solo in 1994. In 1993, Busta founded the record label Flipmode Entertainment (in 2011, he changed it to Conglomerate).
In 1996, he dropped his debut album, The Coming, featuring the classic, "Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check." According to a report, Chuck D of Public Enemy gave him the moniker Busta.
The Brooklyn rapper released nine studio albums. Five are certified platinum, and the other two are gold. Busta's list of notable hits includes tunes like "Dangerous," "Turn It Up (Remix)/Fire It Up," "What's It Gonna Be?!", "Pass the Courvoisier, Part II," "I Know What You Want," "Touch It," and more.
