Justice for Ahmaud Arbery!News sources report the three white men accused of murdering Arbery in cold blood face federal hate crime charges. The decision was made today (April 28) by the Southern District of Georgia. WSBTV reports, Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael, and William “Roddie” Bryan are also charged with one count of interference with rights and with one count of attempted kidnapping. Travis and Gregory McMichael were also charged with one count each of using, carrying, and brandishing — and in Travis’s case, discharging — a firearm during and concerning a crime of violence. Before today, the McMichaels only faced felony murder charges. Arbery was killed by Travis on February 23 after he and his father, Gregory, chased and hunted Arbery down in their truck and shot him while he was jogging. William joined the McMichaels and captured video footage of the horrible killing, which leaked in March. All three men say they were acting in self-defense, but they were arrested in May last year.https://twitter.com/ajplus/status/1387516712006864903?s=20We’ll keep you updated as the case continues. #BlackLivesMatterVia
