Along with Diddy’s properties being raided by federal agents on Monday (March 26), he is facing several legal battles involving sexual allegations. Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones filed a federal suit against Combs and several of his associates in February 2024 alleging “sex-trafficking venture.”

Jones has evidence of Combs planning to use his relationship with Bishop T.D. Jakes to lessen the impact of Cassie Ventura's lawsuit on his public image. Ventura is Diddy’s ex-girlfriend who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against the mogul in November 2023 and the two settled in December for an undisclosed amount.

Jakes was accused of involvement in sex parties hosted by Diddy last year. The pastor responded to the claims on Christmas Eve, he said during service at The Potter’s House in Dallas:

“The worst that could happen, if everything was true, all I got to do is repent sincerely, from my heart. There’s enough power in the blood to cover all kinds of sin. I don’t care what it is, the blood would fix it. But I ain’t got to repent about this.”

In addition, Jordan Hora, Director of Communications For T.D. Jakes Ministries, would respond to the sex party claims with, “Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless.”

Diddy and Jakes have a reported history that includes a partnership with Revolt TV for a series known as “Kingdom Culture With T.D. Jakes,” Diddy visiting the pastor’s megachurch in Dallas, Texas and the pastor briefly attending the mogul’s 53rd birthday party with team.

“We both greeted the family, Bishop Jakes recorded a brief celebratory birthday video and left immediately to take our other scheduled meetings,” Derrick Williams, executive vice president of entertainment at T.D. Jakes Enterprises, and also attended Diddy’s birthday party told The Christian Post. “Any accusation to the contrary is wholly unsubstantiated, unverified, and false.”

Others mentioned in the producer’s lawsuit include rapper Yung Miami, actor Cuba Gooding Jr, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Upon being contacted by the local press, T.D. Jakes and his representatives declined to provide any comments.
