50 Cent didn’t waste a second to deliver a harsh caption addressed to Floyd Mayweather’s recent comments on Diddy in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning (Feb. 21).
During an interview with The Pivot podcast, Mayweather took a moment to address Diddy’s current legal battle over sexual assault charges where he refused to bash the award-winning music mogul. “
“I’m not gonna speak bad about P. Diddy,” began Mayweather. “cause he still a Black man. Mistakes happen. And I can’t say if it is or not a mistake, but things happen in life. And P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business. It’s not my job or anybody else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man while he’s down.”
Mayweather clarified he did not condone the allegations but not his authority to judge Diddy.
He continued: “My take on it is: it’s not my business. I don’t think it’s right at all and I don’t condone it. Even if that happened to my daughter, I would be hurt, but that’s a choice that my daughter made.”
50 Cent shared a new Instagram post questioning Mayweather's intelligence, following the viral clip of Mayweather. Sharing the clip, 50 wrote, “They didn’t even ask him about this, Champ is you stupid or is you dumb? Get me the fuck out ya head, you sound like a hater. DIDDY DO IT ? COMING soon.”
Diddy is involved in multiple legal battles with allegations of sexual assault, trafficking, and r*pe. Denying all claims, Diddy settled a sexual assault lawsuit with former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2023 for an undisclosed amount. Diddy hired high-profile attorney Bobbi Sternheim last week to represent him in upcoming cases.
Off-and-on best friends, 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather’s friendship has seen them at odds with each other on multiple occasions. 50 Cent has spoken on their issues publicly occassionally, in which he revealed various incidents such as Mayweather punching him, Mayweather’s money issues, and Mayweather’s relationship problems.
